FAQ

Q1: Why are the analysis results different from what I expected?

Color analysis results depend on the precision setting. You can adjust it in Settings > Analysis Precision to 8, 12, or 16 colors. Higher precision captures more subtle color differences.

Q2: What is Semantic Color Analysis?

Semantic Color Analysis identifies representative colors from different image regions (such as sky, vegetation, buildings) using image understanding, and displays color segmentation masks. Enable "Pro Mode" in Settings to use this feature.

Q3: How do I copy a color value?

In the analysis results view, tap any color to copy its value. The default copy format (HEX / RGB / HSL) can be set in Settings > Default Copy Format.

Q4: Will my favorites sync across devices?

In the current version, favorites are stored locally on your device only. iCloud sync may be supported in future updates.

Q5: Does the app access the internet?

No. ColorScanner runs completely offline with no network communication. Your images and analysis data are never sent to any server.

Q6: How do I change the language?

Go to Settings > Display > Language to choose from System Default, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, or Japanese.

Q7: How do I get a refund?

If you purchased through the App Store, please request a refund via Apple's refund process. We cannot process App Store refunds directly.
