Terms of Service (EULA)

Welcome to "AnimaInk" macOS application ("the App"). The App is developed and operated by Wushengdai (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. ("we"). Please read this Agreement carefully before use. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms herein.

1. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable personal license to install and run the App on Mac devices you lawfully own, whether Apple Silicon or Intel architecture.

2. Service Description

The App is an AI-powered anime drama creation tool for macOS, providing:

  • Novel text analysis and screenplay/shot segmentation
  • Character portraits, scene concept art, props & costumes, keyframe image generation
  • Storyboard-to-video clip generation
  • Voice-over / TTS synthesis
  • Timeline editing, subtitles, audio-visual sync, 1080p/4K video export

These features depend on third-party AI service API Keys you configure yourself. The App does not provide cloud-based AI generation capabilities.

3. Account and Payment

  • The App is distributed via Mac App Store; payments are handled by Apple
  • Purchases and refunds follow standard Apple App Store policies
  • You are responsible for third-party AI service API costs (Volcengine, Alibaba Cloud Bailian, etc.)

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes; not generate content that violates applicable laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China
  • Take full responsibility for the legality and copyright of any imported novels, scripts, images, or audio
  • Safeguard your API Keys; losses from API Key leakage are your responsibility
  • Not attempt to crack, reverse engineer, or circumvent the App's licensing or signature verification
  • Not generate content that:
    • Endangers national security, incites subversion of state power, or undermines national unity
    • Promotes terrorism, extremism, or ethnic hatred
    • Contains pornography, violence, gambling, drugs, or other illegal material
    • Infringes on others' portrait, reputation, or intellectual property rights
    • Impersonates public figures or spreads false news (e.g. Deepfakes)

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Software Ownership

  • All rights to the App, including source code, UI, icons, and trademarks, belong to Wushengdai (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd.
  • Unauthorized copying, modification, distribution, sublicensing, or commercialization is prohibited

5.2 Ownership of Generated Content

  • Works you generate (images, videos, scripts, etc.) belong to you, conditional on lawful local input
  • Generated results are also governed by the respective AI providers' user agreements; please comply
  • The App does not endorse any ownership transfer of your generated content

6. AI-Generated Content Compliance

  • You must comply with the "Interim Measures for Generative AI Services Management" and "Measures for Labeling AI-Generated Synthetic Content" and other relevant regulations
  • You bear full responsibility for the subsequent distribution and use of content generated by the App
  • The App adds "AI Generated" labels (explicit watermark + implicit metadata) to exported videos/images; these must not be artificially removed

7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates multiple third-party AI services. By using the corresponding features:

  • You are deemed to have accepted each provider's user agreement and privacy policy
  • Service availability, billing, and content moderation are the provider's responsibility
  • We are not liable for third-party service interruptions, errors, or moderation outcomes

8. Disclaimers

8.1 "As Is" Service

The App is provided "AS IS". We do not warrant:

  • Quality, accuracy, or fitness of generated content
  • Error-free operation on all Mac hardware configurations
  • Stability or billing accuracy of third-party AI services

8.2 Data Safety

You must back up important project files. We are not liable for data loss from hardware failure, system crashes, or user error.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by PRC law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages
  • Our cumulative liability shall not exceed the software fees you actually paid via Mac App Store

10. Agreement Modification

We may modify this Agreement from time to time. Modified versions will be notified via in-app notice or on our website. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

11. Termination

  • You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time
  • If you breach any term of this Agreement, we may immediately terminate your license without refund
  • After termination, Sections 4, 5, 8, and 9 remain in effect

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding conflict-of-law rules). Disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, disputes shall be submitted to the court with jurisdiction in Haidian District, Beijing.
